Our Procedures around Coronavirus

OUR PROCEDURES

Our procedures are due for review by Public Health England on 1 April, but at this stage we continue to practice as we have from the beginning of the pandemic.

These measures include:

• • Screening for symptoms
  • Twice-weekly LFT for staff
  • Cleaning the treatment rooms between patients, and the clinic frequently
  • Enforcing social distancing in the waiting room
  • The wearing of appropriate PPE including mask, gloves and aprons with every client
  • Maintaining room ventilation

We ask our patients

• • To weak a mask if possible
  • To attend alone if possible (under-16’s must be accompanied)
  • Not to be early for their appointments
  • Not to attend if they have cold and flu or Coronavirus symptoms
  • If proven to have coronavirus, not to attend the clinic for 10 days, or 6 days if they have tested negative on LFT for 3 consecutive days

As far as we can be sure, there have been no occasions of Coronavirus transmission in the clinic.

At-Risk People

If you are medically at-risk, live with someone who is at-risk, or would like to take extra precautions, we are very happy to make adaptions to your treatment, such as the following:

• • • We can offer consultation by video instead of face-to-face
    • We can see you at the beginning of our clinic day after the room has ventilated overnight or over the weekend, or in a room that has not been used on the day of your attendance
